Last Friday, the BBAG yearling auction took place in Iffezheim.
After a thorough analysis of the auction catalogue, Jochen personally inspected all mares as usual.
In order to have a 2-year-old in the racing team again next year, we decided to bid on our favorites.
After pedigree analysis, inspection of the horses and check by our veterinarian, 7 offers remained on our list in the end.
After looking at the lot no. 157 remained underbidders in a tough bidding duel in the end, but catalogue number 204 was awarded the contract.

The as-yet-unnamed mare of Cracksman (https://www.darleyeurope.com/stallions/our-stallions/cracksman) from Blue Mauritius will join the racing team next year for our interests. Until then, she is recovering from the auction at the Lünzen stud farm and will also go into pre-training there in autumn.
