As part of the race day of the stud in Hanover (on Sunday, October 25th) our two Starlets Shining and Wonderful came back to the proceedings. In the saddle sat the trainee of the Figge quarter Shuichi Terachi, who did a great job. With Wonderful Starlet,who started right in the first race, he managed a successful 3rd place in an EBF race over 1,750m. For Shining Starlet, who competed in a mare list race over 1,400m, things didn’t go so well in the end. Up to about 200m before the finish she was still with the top quartet, then she became too far at the deep ground at the end.
These were their first 3 starts in Germany. The handicappers’ assessment resulted in a GAG of 66 kg for Shining Starlet and a GAG of 64.5 kg for Wonderful Starlet. With this, the two ladies say goodbye to the well-deserved winter break. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful 3-year season.
