The 2026 breeding season at El Sur Racing – a promising season is coming to an end
The 2026 breeding season is in its final phase — time for a first review of intensive, exciting and at the same time very successful months at our stud.
With great care, bloodlines, willingness to perform and prospects for galloping and breeding were coordinated.
A special highlight was the first breeding season of our stallion WELTSTAR on El Sur Racing.
Even before the start of the season, the interest in WELTSTAR was greater than we had dared to hope, and we are very pleased about the consistently positive response from breeders and partners. With his modern type, his charisma, his willingness to perform, his friendly nature and his attractive pedigree, WELTSTAR was able to inspire some breeders. Particularly pleasing is the variety of mares that were entrusted to him in his first season.
For us it was something special to be able to accompany a stallion in the season for the first time. Many positive discussions as well as the trust of our breeders confirm us in our path. They make you look forward to the first offspring of WELTSTAR.
In addition to his successful start as a stallion, we are also looking forward to many other exciting matings within our own breeding planning.

Each mating has been carefully selected, and not only the genetic quality plays a role for us, but also the long-term development of high-performance, tough and characterful horses.
We would like to thank all breeders, partners and supporters for the trust they have placed in us during this season. We would also like to thank our entire team, who accompanied the breeding season every day with great and tireless commitment.
Now we are looking forward to the coming year with excitement and are already looking forward to the next steps – especially the first foals from this year’s matings and the first crop of WELTSTAR on El Sur Racing.
