The 2026 foaling season – 11 new little personalities and future athletes at the stud farm
This year’s foaling season is behind us – and we look back on intensive weeks and many special moments with great joy, gratitude and also a little pride.
It was with great pleasure that we were able to welcome 11 healthy foals to the El Sur Racing Stud this year – a special crop that impressively reflects our breeding orientation and the quality of our matings.
Every birth is something special. Despite all the experience, every single moment remains very emotional, exciting and unique. They are small miracles that touch our hearts deeply. The first cautious steps, curious teasing glances and getting to know mother mare with foal are among the most beautiful moments of our everyday life at the stud every year.
Particularly pleasing is the consistently positive development of our dams and foals. The foaling season was quiet and without complications, so we can look forward to vital, healthy young thoroughbreds as well as balanced and caring dams.
In the past few weeks, the foals have been able to develop excellently and are now enjoying their first months on the pastures of our stud. Every day they collect new impressions, gain more and more confidence and already show a lot of quality, presence and elasticity in their movements.
From a breeding point of view, we are also looking back on this crop of foals with great pleasure. This year’s matings combine interesting and performance-oriented bloodlines with modern types and promising prospects for galloping and breeding.

We would like to thank everyone involved who accompanied this foaling season — our entire team, which had to get by with little sleep due to the important and valuable night watch, our veterinarian, Maria Dombeck, our supporters and of course the breeders who place their trust in us, as well as the horse lovers who follow our work with interest.
Now we are looking forward to the coming months, in which we can continue to accompany the development of our little racehorses. We are curious to see which path the little personalities will take in the future.
