found its way to us, a lot in a new project of the hammer in our favor.
After Jochen had completed his yearling inspection and the shortlist had been set, he had already compared it with his board colleague from the owners’ association, Sascha Hartung, on Friday morning, because he had also made a fine selection. There was exactly one match and the “love” on both sides for the beautiful grey mare, from the stud, Haras de Saint Arnoult, the recently deceased Larissa Kneip, was great. So the spontaneous decision was made to go on the hunt for the contract together instead of competing with each other. Late on Friday evening, the Kat.nr. 103 then into the ring, the grey mare by Galiway (stud fee 30,000 €) out of Kenorina by Kendargent, who currently still goes by the name “Jennyanydots”. After a short but fierce bidding duel, the hammer fell in our favor at 8,500 €.
Jennyanydots, in the future Kellyway, has already arrived safely at Lünzen Stud for relaxation and pre-training.
The newly created “1000 for 1000” racing team is the prelude to a campaign that has set itself the task of making horse racing accessible to new people and actively attracting new owners. More on what this will look like shortly.
