A few days ago, the 9-year-old mare came to our stud farm "El Sur" as a broodmare after successful years in racing.

El Sur Stud is now officially a thoroughbred stud
In its meeting today, the breeding commission of the umbrella organisation Deutscher Galopp, our stud farm at Sachsenburg, which operates under the name “El Sur” like all our equestrian sports organisations, has pronounced the recognition as a thoroughbred stud.
Jump raffle at the Thoroughbred Expert Day
At the Thoroughbred Expert Day, we took part in the annual stud jump raffle, as we did last year.
Also this year the luck of the draw was kind to us …..
A lifelong dream comes true
Jochen and Simone Stargardt opened their stud farm El Sur at Neustadt’s Sachsenburg on Christmas Eve.

Tierschutz muss bezahlbar bleiben. Tierarztkosten dürfen nicht davongaloppieren. Deshalb fordern Pferdehalter, Reitvereine und Betriebe die Überarbeitung der neuen Gebührenordnung für Tierärzte hin zu fairen Gebühren unter Berücksichtigung der Interessen der Tierhalter und Pferdebesitzer.
